Charlotte is No. 9 in Free Speech Ranking

UNC Charlotte was recently ranked No. 9 in the 2025 College Free Speech Rankings, released by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression and College Pulse. This is the first time for Charlotte in the top ten of the rankings.

This exciting news shows the hard work of our faculty and the Free Speech and Constructive Dialogue Task Force in creating a free speech environment on campus.
